The annual event widely concerned by the Chinese automotive industry and the media, the "Oscar" award ceremony of the automotive electronics industry 2019 Automotive Electronics Science and Technology Award hosted by the Shenzhen Automotive Electronics Industry Association, was solemnly announced at the "2020 China (Shenzhen) International Automotive Electronics Industry Annual Conference" on the afternoon of September 12, 2020.

The "China Automotive Electronics Science and Technology Award" was established by the Shenzhen Automobile Electronics Industry Association and is a science and technology award in the automotive electronics field nationwide. The award has played a very good role in the recognition and market promotion of scientific and technological achievements in China's automotive electronics field, the incubation of achievements, the encouragement of scientific and technological innovation enthusiasm of the majority of scientific and technological personnel, the docking of industrial capital, and the promotion of enterprise technical strength. The Shenzhen Automotive Electronics Industry Expert Committee shall independently undertake the award review, and award the units, individuals and outstanding individual products that have made outstanding contributions to scientific research, technological innovation, promotion and application of scientific and technological achievements, high-tech industrialization and major project construction in the automotive electronics field. The automotive electronics science and technology award is applied by enterprises on their own, recommended by experts or industry media, and the Secretariat coordinates the collection and screening of data. The automotive electronics industry expert committee comprehensively considers and evaluates the award with reference to the innovation, innovation type, progressiveness of technology, scientific and technological achievements, intellectual property rights, scientific and technological awards won, and enterprise technical and economic indicators. From September 2019 to February 6, 2020, the current Automotive Electronics Science and Technology Award has been collected for more than five months without any fees from any enterprise. After the project solicitation was completed, it went through more than three months of evaluation. The enterprises participating in the evaluation came from 21 cities, with 199 enterprises supporting and participating. A total of 281 projects participated in the evaluation. Finally, more than 20 experts from the independent expert panel scrupulously adhered to the principles of fairness, impartiality, openness and avoidance, and the final evaluation results were obtained through three rounds of evaluation.

The system is composed of vehicle mounted millimeter wave radar sensors. It has the capabilities of remote detection, night work, all-weather work, speed and vehicle distance measurement. It has strong temperature adaptability and is not affected by climate. It can work normally in harsh environments such as rain, snow and smoke. Therefore, the system is less constrained by the external environment and can effectively and reliably play a driving assistant role.

When the vehicle turns right or runs at a low speed (less than or equal to 15Km/h), the system will monitor the motor vehicles, non motor vehicles, pedestrians and obstacles in real time in the area on the right side of the vehicle, and give graded warning to the targets in the dangerous area on the right side of the vehicle in the form of sound and light. When the vehicle is running at a high speed (more than 15Km/h), real-time monitoring shall be carried out for the motor vehicles and non motor vehicles moving at a high speed in the area on the right side of the vehicle, and blind spot detection function (BSD) and lane change assistance function (LCA) shall be supported.
