NVIDIA GTC 2026, a global flagship AI conference, was recently held in San Jose, California. As a raw radar data partner integrated with the NVIDIA DRIVE platform, Cheng-Tech showcased its seventh-generation centralized computing radar and demonstrated a centralized radar solution based on NVIDIA DRIVE.

Demonstration using the NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Thor developer kit
Powered by Infineon chipsets, the solution directly streams raw radar ADC data to the central compute platform, delivering approximately 100× more data than conventional radar architectures.
By preserving richer raw sensing information, centralized computing radar provides the semantic information required by end-to-end intelligent driving systems for robust generalization across diverse scenarios. It also supports data alignment with cameras and LiDAR for model training and validation, helping systems advance from perception to cognition.
As a core source of high-fidelity raw sensing data, centralized computing radar is becoming an essential sensing technology for L3 and L4 automated driving.
Meanwhile, centralized computing radar continues to evolve with advances in computing platforms and AI model architectures. By providing richer, high-fidelity sensing data, it supports seamless functional upgrades as system capabilities expand.
Originating from intelligent driving, this new perception paradigm could also become a new technical path for a broader range of Physical AI applications.
